EMSI is an international green building/LEED consulting firm based in Washington D.C., with branch offices in Springfield, MO, China and the Middle East.
Position Overview:
EMSI seeks a full-time Senior Project Manager to manage both domestic and international projects. The Senior PM will be expected to make frequent international trips to the Middle East, Asia, and/or Europe and possible international assignments. The position is based in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
Serve as project manager for commercial building projects pursuing LEED certification.
Serve as chief technical advisor and project manager to EMSI's start-up operations.
Develop, evaluate, and present green- and high-performance building strategies to clients.
Perform architectural design reviews and produce sustainability reports.
Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations and conference papers.
Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts for new clients.
Participate in strategic planning sessions with senior EMSI staff.
Qualifications:
The Senior PM will have a graduate degree in architecture, urban planning, mechanical engineering, building sciences, or a related field; and minimum 5 years experience managing LEED projects, with some international work experience. Excellent communications and organizational skills are required.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
