ECOCOVE Yacht Club LLC
Project Description
Vision
The Ecocove Yacht Club project is to build and develop forty 52' boat slips and to erect an upland building with retail space, activities hall and space for owner amenities. The construction incorporates renewable and sustainable materials and the design also utilizes the latest technologies which minimize or eliminate the ecological impact on the surrounding natural environment.
Phasing
The development is to take place in three phases.
Phase one is the construction of 20 52' slips already permitted.
Phase two is the construction of the uplands parking garage and building.
The third phase is to build the last 20 52' boat slips for which the adjacent property needs to be purchased and rehabbed to a sales office and business center.
Improvement and permitting
Permit on the first 20 slips is approved.

Operational Features
3,000 square feet of capacity for retail space
Approximately 200 guest Event hall rental
Boat slips will be able to be rented by the management when requested by owners for a 20% management fee.
Construction Features
Solar cell technology to generate and store electricity for daily consumption with the capability to sell back to the grid any overage produced.
Water catchment, filtration, and storage system for the run off water from the parking garage to remove pollutants and toxics before using the reclaimed water for irrigation.
Working with the City to implement the board walk and egress for the shorefront.
Modular dock construction will span from shore, protecting the existing natural sea grass in the lagoon.
The dock system is manufactured entirely in man made resin and other non degradable materials which will not leech onto the sand or seawater.
The lagoon area will be a research bed for the area helping improve quality of education.
Native plants and lagoon revitalization programs working together with The Harbor Branch, IRCC and ORCA will keep and promote natural habitats and wildlife.
The Hall and retail building will be built as tilt wall construction enabling easy reconfiguration for retail and hall.
The availability of space for the city's water taxi to disembark.
A harbor master station at the edge of the dock system with internet broadcast, and digital camera system for security.
