Show-Me Lots

My name is Gary White and I am a developer in the Branson, MO area. I have purchased  an 80 acre parcel of ground and built the infrastructure for 54 of 174 lots. My vision is to build an affordable neighborhood for this area's workforce.  These houses would sell for $130k up to $170k. My local builder friends say that my numbers work but they can't get the financing to take down my lots. I am wondering if there is anyone with "green building/buying" experience who would like to "joint venture" with me to build these homes. 

The "Green" concept is new to me and quite frankly ...it just makes sense! I'm not really the tree hugger kind but I do believe The Lord meant for us to be good stewards of His creation. This is really intriguing to me.

It makes sense because I have always been of the opinion that in times of money trouble the first thing you do is to slow down your spending. Sometimes you can increase your income but not always.  I think it's time for our society to realize that sometimes it's better to spend less rather than making more. Building Green is one way I can help make that possible.
