Our primary focus is in creating the educational and corporate culture shifts necessary for management and employee buy-in for commitment to full corporate sustainability. Up-shift provides organizational design and methodologies that transitions an organization or corporation into a balanced sustainable system - continuously increasing the exchange of output between all internal components and external publics which creates long-term viability for the organization.
The "Scale of Sustainability" Roadmap is a graphic ascending scale that defines the evolution of an organization from unsustainable to fully sustainable or Scale of Organizational Sustainability. The low end of the scale is focused on regulatory and compliance issues and advances to social and environment initiatives that have a cost reduction benefit to the company. The next steps are value chain and supply chain initiatives that are perceived to be sustainable to the consumer and the final steps identify new markets and the organization's sustainable "sweet spot" - the balance of social, economic and environment factors.
